Last night, after Barry and I went out for dinner, I went over to see "The Angels" (Kim, Sarah, & Laura) new place. Very nice house... I'm sure the three of them will have a great time living together. I mean they have the jitters of "what will it be like living with each other"... but they are three of the most awesome girls I know and I'm sure they can work things out fine. I mean, come-on, they did "rock/paper/scissors" to determine who got which bedroom. LOL.

They invited several of their "A-list" friends to come over and see the place tonight and then go out afterward... so we all made our way to MacGrady's. First time in a long while that I went out and did midweek, late-night drinking with friends. It was fun... enjoyed the nice warm air out on the patio and drank lots of beer and just chit-chatted the night away. Didn't get home until almost 1:30am.

I must say, it was very nice to crawl into bed at 2:30 and fall asleep cuddled in the arms of Barry. Thankfully I didn't get "wasted"... so no hangover this morning... although I did sleep in a bit more than I should have. One friend got quite drunk very quickly last night. Not sure what happened there, but hope that they are feeling OK today. Thankfully they weren't driving.

Tonight, Barry and I will be going up to camp... Should be a nice weekend (weather) and hopefully we'll be able to sit back and enjoy. Got lots of prospective things to do tomorrow (camp raft-race, Sean's picnic in Scranton, Mike's boat on Beltzville) so not really sure what will happen... but hopefully just play things by ear and do what comes naturally.

Sidenote: Why is it that everyone updates their journal the day I'm busy and can't check? ;) Took me a while to catch-up this morning... Felt like I was a week behind...

Second Sidenote: Barry and I have discussed the trip to GA next weekend some more, and I've discussed with several friends... and, although we haven't technically committed to it just yet, I think I'm about 99% sure that we will be driving down on Saturday and back on Tuesday... I guess I should apply for the days-off from work today, and look at airfare. We were calculating the cost of driving vs. flying... and I realized that for Barry and I to drive to GA, it will cost about $200 in gas and food and wear/tear on the car... that shocked me a little... and it doesn't even take into account the value of our time... So, I'm going to check flights as well... it just may work out that flying would be "cheaper" even though the flights were not as inexpensive as I thought they should be.
