Bomb threat...

So... here I am sitting at home...
At 2:30, we had a "silent evacuation" from the office building. Standing out in the cold parking lot for half an hour before being told, "Go home, no one is allowed back in the building until all the floors have been searched." Then, sitting in my car in "traffic" for a half hour trying to get out of the parking lot. Then going several blocks out of my way to avoid the other congestion being caused by the heavy traffic. All this for what I assume was another bomb threat... probably some punk's way of getting him or herself out of work for the afternoon. And all this after three weeks of "tightened security". What the hell good is tightened security if they still have to evacuate from a bomb threat? What the hell difference does it make, making us wait in line every morning to get into the building? If there's a bomb threat, they are going to evacuate anyway?! Who wants to blow up a frigg'n 19-story call-center office in the middle of bumble-fuck-Bethlehem?
I'm so friggn annoyed and irritated...
BUT... it does mean I'm basically done with work early! *kind-of-happy grumble*
