Flight went fine... really dislike the Southwest boarding mess (they need longer lines for their three seating classes "ABC")... but all-in-all not a bad airline, and if the seating thing is the price you pay for cheaper flights, then I'll pay it. :)
Barry and I are staying at Treasure Island... it's nice... nothing fancy... but nice. Can you believe that they charge for internet access?!?! $11/day -- at first I was grumbling about it... but I just got back to the room after spending three hours and $40 on a nickle "Dream of Jeannie" slot machine... and I figured what the hell: $11 for 24 hours of internet is a small price to pay for me and my geekiness... I'd enjoy surfing for three hours for $11 more than slots for $40 any-day.
Guess I'm not a big fan of Vegas... not a big fan of gambling... but I'm trying my best... I'm looking forward to getting out the hotel and seeing some of the stuff around town... Barry's enjoying the gambling... so that's where he is.
We went to bed kind of early last night (around 9:30pm local time) and woke up early for a nice buffet breakfast... it's 10:30am and I've already had breakfast, 4 mimosas and now I'm in the room drinking my silly on coke and some rum (that I brought along). Whee!
Cheers... here's to four more days of doing nothing and enjoying it. (I hope)
